Kasia Niewiadoma sits down with Rachel Jary at Rouleur Live to discuss her shock victory at the Tour de France Femmes 2024 and the euphoria of winning the maillot jaune by just four seconds ahead of Demi Vollering. The Polish rider talks about returning to winning ways at La Flèche Wallonne in the Spring, after five years without a victory on the road, and how it propelled her to success at the biggest race of the year.

Kasia jest po prostu najlepsza i nie ma co do tego wątpliwości!
She won because Demi crashed and was left behind by her team on flat stage 5 where she lost almost 2 minutes in GC. And on the final stage 8 Demi made a tactical error and attacked too soon on the penultimate climb of the day Glandon and lost a lot of time on the flat between Glandon and Alpe d'Huez beacuse she was in front with ROOIJAKKERS who had instructions from her team car to not work with Demi and just stay on her wheel while behind a whole group was working together chasing the 2 in front. But like Wiggins said road cycling is a cutthroat sport and the strongest rider doesn't always win in the end.
