A fine loop of the Peak District from High Peak ( Glossop) a fine winters day of sunshine – up Snakes pass from Glossop side & taking in amongst other locations – Bamford – Castleton – Hope – Sparrow pit – Chapel on fifth – Chinley – Whaley Bridge – High Peak – New Mills – Hayfield – ( A624 is not a great road I’d advise cycling on unless your confident very tight & busy with traffic – ensure you always use day lights!
Some great places to eat in Glossop that I will share links to definitely worth staying here or close to here – a fair few options on accommodation I just grabbed a convenient Air B&B that suits my purpose.
Good Italian food menu at Napoli – reasonably priced and good portions & if you fancy Thai then maybe checkout The Beehive – good portion sizes & food was fine in a warm and friendly atmosphere – Parking around the pub/restaurant can get busy – all on road parking.
