  1. Thank you so much, Will. I am 81. I have moderate osteoporosis. I take Fosamax for it. In January it will have been a full year. So we'll see if that has helped. I always do pilates and walking. I do work out with light weights and I use my own body weight. Your videos are so helpful in adapting exercises for safety.
I thank you so, so much. I don't go to a gym. So my living room is where I work out. I watch you on a very large Tv with Apple tv. I also use a step. Where I live is very rainy in the wintertime, so I use the step rather than walking in the cold rain.

  2. Thank you for your videos. May I please ask for clarification, are these alternative suggestions for those with severe osteoporosis only? I am inquiring as the research from Dr Belinda Beck and the Liftmor study specifically uses traditonal deadlift and squats loaded with heavy weights. It is what is suggested to many with osteoporosis. Thank you kindly.

  3. Thank you :D. I am 71 with severe osteo, three compressed thoracic, sciatica, prior neck fractures and diastasis recti. Whew that was a lot. Oh, Achillies surgeries and frozen shoulder surgery. Year of PT. Most recently 6 months recovery from severe rolled ankle. Anyway, I am a very active senior. I think watching your videos I have finally come across a series of exercises I can do to strengthen muscles without damaging the bone structure. I will make drawings of the no stress exercises and put together a 3x week plan. So very excited to find someone who understands the complexity of the aging body and the need to remain strong. THANK YOU!

  4. I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis. I’ve been doing heavy weights and hiit workouts for a long time. Should I back off a little either the heavy workouts in your opinion?

  5. I just got diagnosed and am scared to death. I live alone and have a 7 lb shih tzu. Constantly lifting and bending. Or I give her away and am all alone. I have a Pilates Power Gym Plus. In nyc it's hard to find the right physical therapist. I'm walking like crazy. On couch too much. Gym above me but I won't use it.

  6. Thank u for showing the exercises not to do if you have severe osteoporosis. Been so scared to do exercises until now. Also enjoyed reading your book. Keep up the good work Will. I have multiple fractures but need to exercise. So will give it a go. Can't wait. 😊

  7. I’m so happy I just discovered your channel. I’m 65, diagnosed with osteoporosis of the spine about 3 years ago. On A.Acid; I walk as much as I can and I’ve been doing Pilates for 5 years, moderating as I need to. Being newly retired I’m aware I’m not as active as I was when working in a busy school environment. So I am looking for safe weight bearing exercises to help with bone density. I will be looking at your videos with interest. Thank you.

  8. Most interesting especially as I have suffered for 9 months with low back pain. I have just been diagnosed with fracture of L3 and I have yet to understand how! I could have osteoporosis and seeing back specialist soon. I have been told to avoid yoga which I have done for some years. I appreciate the information and alternative options. Thank you❤
