  3. Thank you for talking about this. My paternal grandmother’s family were Barbary corsairs . My dad and his family always referred to their occupation/trade as missionary work😅 My father’s family lost most of their wealth due to the abolishment of slavery.

  4. Bollocks, they didn't! The USA wanted to keep Slavery! It was the BRITISH ROYAL NAVY, and the will of the BRITISH PEOPLE that achieved this! Don't try and rewrite History for America to make them look good! Looking at American Politics today, they're trying to bring it back!
