That Colnago Y1RS is nice. I like the shoulder relief area like a Canyon Inflite. Should be great for cyclocross, plus the handlebars look like they came off my snowblower when I lived in northern NY state. Ordering mine today….let it snow!☃

Had an Ostro, wasn’t great. Not as light as advertised, front end wasn’t that responsive. Stiff for sure but wasn’t in the same universe as the SL8. Good looking but really overrated bike.
Whatever bike Pog happens to be on is the best bike. As in fastest…namsayin’….

I own that bianchi. When you ride it and actually look at it. You might feel different. But based just off a photo. I can see your answers.
The only reason the cycling world is against the bianchi is because it isn't all celeste or not traditional. The specilamizma is just that and arkea rides both frames. No way is it ugliest vs that colnago. Brand name is why everyone is going nuts for that new frame. If it had a Chinese brand on it. It would be voted worst bike of the year.

The RC logo on the NDS on a Bianchi ruins it immediately, especially as the cameras are predominantly on the NDS of cyclists. What are Colnago doing, weird gravel / road hybrid MTB

SL8 is a horrible looking bike. I don't care how much the marketing budget is, it's not aesthetically pleasing at all.
That was good fun way of reviewing those super-bikes…..and you almost got it right! Cannondale and should-have-been Propel for the top two (although the Merida is also really nice!). Ultimate winner would be errr just the Cann by a whisker……except none are as nice as a specced-up spotless Mark1 version of a Spesh Venge, such as the one I've just acquired for £400 (plus a further £600 for nicer wheels) !!

Unpopular opinion: I actually like the Bianchi Oltre RC design, it's edgy, it's different, it breaks the typical mold of an aero bike. It's not perfect but it's underrated. The Cervelo S5 and the new Y1RS has controversial design choices, but those are the bikes I really think catches my eye
Dogma with aero socks – this will together give you an extra 3km/hr over the standard high end competition.

I honestly thing the SL8 is one of the worst looking bikes in the tour. It feel fairly confident that Specialized throw every bike reviewing channel a bunch on cash every year. No one has ever said how flexy the bike is to ride, but it really is.
