If Madeira isn’t Europes best unknown MTB destination… then there certainly weren’t enough people riding there! The place was basically empty!
If you are a downhill mountain biker, you NEED to get to Madeira!!
Today we were low on sleep, had some stomach troubles, and had about 20 miles of HARD downhill mountain biking in front of us. Can we make it through another hard day on the bikes?

Nice….this place has been on my bucket list for a few years now!!
It’s fairly well known for Europeans, but as you guys come from North America, it’s understandable that your scope has only now reached this far.
For Europeans there are frequent flights, at a reasonable price, and living cost is lower compared to the more northern of European countries.
Rough riding with all the rocks and roots! Keep your eyes on the trail and not those beautiful views!😳
tip: when riding hard, eat less and most of all, chew more & don't gobble.
It is nice to ride with riders above our level but it is always a delicate balance not to push too hard when trying to keep up! Madeira was by far the most difficult ride I ever did! I had lots of fun, but it was clearly way above my pay grade! Nice video – congrats!
