  1. Were you surprised by the selection of riders for Visma-Lease a Bike? 🚲 How do you think they will do against Tadej Pogačar? 🏁Let us know!

  2. I'm all for the ban of TT bikes for juniors. I have a 15 year old son who want to start racing on the road. Getting him a decent second hand road bike was expensive enough, also finding a TT bike would be really hard on a budget. (He also rides MTB 💸)
Also, since I'm the whole family's bike care and repair guy I could do without another bike.😅

  3. WHAT? Vinegar only racing a handful of races in a season. These blokes are bloody girls! I bet he sits down to pee! You blokes want to compare these wooses to Merckx, Coppi, Hinault, Binda, Anquetil etc? That's bloody laughable!

  4. Brilliant decision by canadians! TT bike ban for juniors should be widespread to foster real talent. It would then be easier for federations to provide good enough equipment for the top performers to train and compete at the Worlds, and sufficient time between nationals and worlds as well as bike dimensions rules could be provided for adaptation and a certain degree of fairness. 2 years should be enough to deploy a plan with a few emails and online meetings, wouldn't it?!

  5. As an Aussie cycling fan I’m super excited for the tour down under. It would be even greater if we could get more of the big teams taking it seriously. Who wouldn’t want Pogacar, Pidcock, MVDP, Van Aert, Vingegaard etc in person in our race.
Question is, what would it take for that to happen?

  6. I think is too early to confirm Visma will have that squad in the Tour of France. With the experience of last year falls and injuries, I could predict than more than one of those riders will not be able to ride that grand Tour.

  7. I would like to say that Daniel Lloyd, you are my favorite, most articulate announcer that I can think of in current bicycle racing.
    Just sayin;)
I love TT bikes but also love a level playing field.
TT bikes for TT specific races, but road bikes for stg races.
I just feel that with the increasing cost of everything, it would be more of a level playing field.
More about the riders, less about fat pockets.
If only we could do that for politics;)
    Keep it fun folks!

  8. Joans should have taken the Giro and clash on the Tour with Pogi. Why clashing both grand tours? Last year Pogi showed he is on another level even for Vingegaard. 1 Pogi 2 Vingegaard 3 Evapoel 4 The rest of the Bunch

  9. I think TT bikes should be universally banned. They're an extra expense that doesn't serve any purpose, except going slightly faster. Competition between similarly equipped riders (i.e., on a level playing field) is athlete vs athlete, the whole point of the event.

  10. Personally i would ban TT bike altogether for road racing events. I think a whole tour / stage races should be rode on the same bike.
It would also benefit amateur rider, smaller teams & juniors with the affordability / budget issues.

  11. So, basically what you're saying is Jonas has to structure his entire calendar around trying to win the TDF whereas Pog will show up having probably shredded everyone throughout the classics for fun…
