With a free afternoon I headed out to some local hills, to see how the Giant gearing coped with them. Unfortunately the rain made an appearance and made it rather moist out there.
Still it was a good leg stretcher and good to do so more niggle testing on the new bike.
And apologies as I seemed to waffle on a bit on this video.

  1. I love the technical term Dave' Shit Up Mud', but it sums up winter riding sometimes. The new bike is going to be a good work horse for sure, I hope you get many cycle/ camping trips on it in the coming year. ATB Big Dave Scotland

  2. Nice ride out Dave but the roads are awful and filthy at the moment. I've been riding my trike a bit more because better traction on slippery surfaces.
On another note have you ever been waved at by Francis Bourgeois I wonder 🙂 ?

  3. brave man going out that day but as you said miles in the legs.btw full mudguards are the way to go could never see the benifit of half mudguards. great looking bike well done.

  4. Great video Dave but do feel for you in those conditions. I do like your new bike set up. Saturday arvo here in New Zealand, 24 degrees, watching your video with a couple of beers. Cheers.
