This story was covered on BBC south today, both you and Chloe came across very well and highlighted the problem with getting the canal restored through Swindon.

I worked on the Swindon to Kemble redoubling on the rail there, quite a challenging endeavour, the same should be afforded the canal, prosperity for everyone.

Some places as developers restore the canal as part of the building works which gives something back to the community I really wish they wouldn't build up to the banks of canals more and more canals of housing estates backing on to them they should leave a green corridor for animals and people it's so important to wildlife
