First Like to bring notice to the tribute painted on the bridge is for
the victims of the Forbury Park attack on June 20 2020.
My love and thoughts go out to the victims James Furlong , Joe Ritchie-Bennett, David Wails
and of course their families. In a small way this is a tribute to them.
Thank you for making me aware.

A lovely walk around and over the 3 bridges of Reading Berkshire.
Bank and Drone footage on a lovely winters day!
The River Thames meanders through Reading and Caversham separating the two on opposite banks. Crossings either side of Reading are limited to Whitchurch to the west and Sonning to the east thus the bridges in Reading are a vital link. Two road bridges, Caversham Bridge (opened in 1926) and Reading Bridge (opened in 1923) were supplemented in 2015 by a suspended pedestrian and cycle crossing, now called Christchurch Bridge at the bottom of Fry’s Island.

David, James and Joe are the victims of the stabbings in the Forbury gardens attack.
Thanks for the video. Reading isn't my home town either, but I lived very close to where you were videoing for over 30 years. There used to be digital River Thames flow meter (in cubic metres per second) on a small brick hut just to the left of the east-facing exit of Reading bridge on the north bank near/opposite where the barge cafe was you mentioned. Is the flow meter still there? I glimpsed the small hut in your video.
