Some time ago, I got a new Madone gen 8 SL frame as a warranty replacement.
When I took a closer look at it in good light, I noticed some smudges on the paint and a few fingerprint marks in a couple of spots. Unfortunately, they’re under the clear coat, so you can’t just wipe them off.
To be honest, I’m pretty surprised by the quality of the paint job, especially since the bike isn’t cheap.
Is this just normal for Trek bikes, or did I just get unlucky with a bad frame? Do you think this is something worth claiming under warranty?
