As someone who has travelled, lived and studied in multiple countries across multiple continents, having experienced multiple cultures, all the ills of society being described can be found in any democratic society, where freedom is portrayed to be a core building block of these societies.
Often times, people will take the experience of living in a major city, then proceed to paint the whole nation with same brush, which isn’t indicative of a vast majority of the society.
In the presence of multiple police officers and tens of active cameras, I saw people jump barriers to avoid paying train tickets in Shanghai.
For someone who has never lived in China, based on how the media portrays PRC, this will be unthinkable.

We often tend to exaggerate our negative situations while fantasising about an “ideal” situation. There is no doubt that London is not an ideal city in terms of standard of living, due to high cost of rent, transportation, security etc…..

Funny enough they were blaming an Indian-origin PM saying that he was removing the British identity. As far as i can vouch he was the only one providing some things to British values but none of the British people supported him because he was constantly abused for his ethnicity. Now when they have selected the one which they craved for they are not happy about the issues he is not even considering as crime. So British need to realise that there is a difference between people coming from India and people coming from neighbouring parts of India which were earlier under British Raj, you guys gave the parts of the country to the very people you're now against. So welcome to the world which we did not approve 73 years ago. And accept the consequences of unhinged crime fueling people.
