My girlfriend and I have taken a couple of short bikepacking trips locally and are ready to try something a little bigger. We are planning to tour from Barcelona to Perpignan on the Eurovelo 8 Catalan Crossing route. We were hoping to be able to roll our bikes onto a train to get us back to Barcelona to fly home. Does anyone know if this is possible in any way or will we have to carry travel bags with us to disassemble and pack the bikes into? We would be willing to transfer or bike from one connection to the other if it allows us to not have to carry a travel bag with us/disassemble the bikes. We are mostly concerned with planning this train link but any other touring tips for this area (places to stop/stay, things to see, etc) would also be very welcome. Thanks very much!
