Hello, long time Brompton owner here looking to do a few fixes/upgrades as the bike is getting on a bit and needs some love. I have several different questions…
Firstly, my quick release for the seatpost has recently given up the ghost – [this](https://www.condorcycles.com/products/brompton-quick-release-seat-clamp?variant=34904650442) looks good but just want to check before ordering. Before that I was having issues with the seatpost remaining at the right height, I assume this is just a cleaning issue but is it possible the rubber inner needs replacing and if so, where would I even find that?
I broke the back end of my rear mudguard around April time – now that winter is coming up, I really could do with replacing it only there seems to be several options and I can’t tell whether they all fit my bike or not? For reference it’s a S6L from around 2017/2018.
Lastly, I am using the bike a lot more again and would love to upgrade the handle bar grips. I do one very steep hill daily and in general would love to get a bit more of a sporty ride position if that’s possible with the fold? I am happy with my seat position (although I could shift back slightly more) but sometimes wish the bars were a little lower as I’m only 5ft4! Any suggestions on what is an easy replacement and feels a bit more comfortable?
