this is my favourite sand sculpture at sand world weymouth,
Alien vs. Predator, This incredible sculpture was created by Jan Zelinka from the Czech Republic. Jan is a very good friend of veteran SandWorld sculptor Radek Zivny. The duo have worked together in Portugal as beach artists, so very similar to Mark Anderson and his grandfather Fred Darrington!
The Alien vs. Predator franchise depicts a series of deadly encounters between humanity and extraterrestrial species. The Aliens, ferocious endoparasitoid creatures and the Predators, technologically advanced warriors that hunt for personal sport and honour. Predominantly transpiring in the present day of the 21st century, the series acts as a spin-off to both the Alien franchise and the Predator franchise, portraying humankind’s encounters with alien species and how they help shape human civilisation.
