  1. Just ban mass racing and keep it time trials only.
Removes all extraneous factors interfering with your performance. Since most safety issues are due to the interactions of riders in a competitive situation, banning group races solves all these problems.

Some sports keep it individual events only, I see no reason why all sports can’t do the same. Downhill racing, shooting sports etc. no mass racing no problem

  2. I agree with the ban on team mate celebrations – it's a pain in the ass for other riders – this wasn't really a problem before rider radios !🤔👍🏻🚴🏻‍♂️

  3. GOOD!!!……ALL cycling should just be on Zwift! it'll keep cycling super safe! IDIOTS!!!…..The sport is becoming so sanitized and devoid of it's history and turning the sport into a video game!

  4. Dan comparing a futbol celebration to a lead out rider slowing down is just dumb. As far as I know opposing team players are not near the players in the futbol celebration.

  5. Quick answer: UCI is more boring than the NFL, and also doesn't understand what the hell they need to fix, so they're trying to flex control over stupid crap to justify their dumb ass jobs.

  6. I didn't watch this video only because I read about this 3 days ago. I have mixed feeelings about this new rule. On one hand it makes sense because you have teammates throwing their hands up in celebration as their teammate wins a bunch sprint which is a sudden decrease in speed but on the other hand its just another example of the UCI doing the absolute bare minimum to keep the safety of the riders a top priority. UCI has always been a joke and each year it makes up new and usually stoopid and worthless rules when there are other things that could be changed to keep the riders safe but this rule isn't as stoopid as some previous rules put into play in previous seasons. This one makes a bit more semse to me than some of the other rules that have been implemented in previous seasons
    🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  7. This video shows the text regarding the new rules and I’m staggered at how badly GCN have misinterpreted it… it’s not about celebrating… it’s about suddenly slowing down in the middle of bunch sprint for any reason.
How did you conclude this from ready that Dan?

  8. What is the confusion? You can see with your own eyes when it’s putting surrounding and following riders at risk. Muppets with arms raised “look at me, look at me” at the worst time and place. Too harsh?
