This video is highlights of my second day of mountain biking at Zermatt in Switzerland in June 2015. Toni and Julia from Bike School Zermatt took me up the Gornergrat on the Gornergratbahn – the highest open air railway in Europe (the station is at 3089m above sea level). We did a couple of runs back down to Zermatt, passing through Rotenboden and Riffelalp and stopped to view the incredible reflections of the Matterhorn in the Riffelsee mountain lake. We rode less singletrack than the previous day, but the wide open, rocky tracks were still a lot of fun and for me riding past snow was a big novelty! The sheer amount of altitude had my brakes burning (almost literally – they smelt BAD) but the views were incredible and as we got down into the forest there was some nice twisty singletrack too. What an awesome place! Shot on my GoPro Hero 3 and 4 Black Editions.
