Hello there! And welcome to another video on our channel. Just like I mentioned in the beginning, it’s always better to ride than not to ride. That’s why on one of the weekends last year, we decided to go on a trip around Devon. Nothing major, nothing big, just a weekend out, to get some fresh air and clear our heads. If you’re a rider, you know that feeling. Just riding. Motorbikes are good for your mental health! And you don’t even have to consult that with your doctor. It’s just a fact.

The plan for that trip was to go through our neighbourhood, up to Exeter, then further north near Wellington, ultimately getting to the North Coast of Devon, which I believe is a part of the Exmoor National Park. We’ve booked a night in a hotel in Holsworthy, so that was our goal for the day. We decided to travel light. I only had a backpack strapped to the back of my Royal Enfield, and Mike had only the tiny Kriega’s on his Honda. With that in mind, we could finally squeeze a little bit more out of our bikes.

Also, the hotel had a place to keep our bikes safe, and most importantly, there was a pub downstairs! We enjoyed a pint or five in the evening, got a shower and went to bed. The next day welcomed us with a bit of rain, but nothing that we couldn’t handle. Remember – a true biker rides in all weather!

After a very nice coffee in Widemouth Bay, we slowly headed back home, through Launceston, then Tavistock, cutting through Dartmoor National Park, straight back to Torbay. By the way, if you would like to take the same route as we did, let us know! We’re more than happy to share our GPX files for you to travel along!

Donate on Patreon – that will go directly to our petrol tanks, so we’ll hit the road for more YT content.
