    WINTER ADVENTURE in FINLAND | Rovaniemi 150



    Rovaniemi 150 and my experience in that winter fatbike race in 2022.
    In this video I show you my experience in the Rovaniemi 150, one of the hardest races in the world. This year we reached -30ºC and a very slow snow which makes the race harder than any other year. This year was the first time where nobody finished the race with the bike and just 3 cyclists achieve the 150km.

      Vaya aventura!
      Estaría bueno que hablaras de los grados de congelación y hasta que punto los que organizan este tipo de carreras pueden mantener al atleta en carrera.

      Buenas Álvaro, increíble aventura, uff no me veo yo a esas temperaturas…imagino que tampoco te sientes solo en ning<n momento y que si te ves crítico podrás pedir ayuda…

      Respecto al cambio que has dado s tus videos y publicarlos en inglés, bueno, puede venir bien a quien tenga nivel y pueda seguirlos pero por contra también puede hacer que quien no tenga conocimientos suficientes del idioma desestime verlos leyendo subtítulos. Imagino que tus subscriptores o la mayoría de ellos somos de habla hispana, y por tanto quizá si tu idea es internacionalizarlos fuera mejor idea hablar en español y poner un letrero al inicio de que está subtitulado en inglés y no al revés, pero bueno, es tu canal y puedes hacer lo que quieras y veas que te vaya bien.

      Álvaro, un vídeo muy bonito y seguro que vuelves a casa con una experiencia inolvidable. Sobre lo que comentas al final, ánimo, tontos hay en todas partes, siéntete afortunado de que estos sean los primeros en tantos años. Hay muchas carreras, hay mucha naturaleza y hay mucha nieve donde disfrutar. Un abrazo.

      I am receiving constant persecution from the organizer this race on my social networks, who has already been reported for harassment, insults and slander:
      – On my Instagram and YouTube he is constantly attacking and insulting me with another account (since 3 weeks). Even in this video (which of course I have already deleted, but I´ve all the screenshots)
      – Constantly repeating that night I slept in a private sauna, (really??? ) According to him, because my sleeping bag was not good enough (1300 grams white goose Down is not a problem for -30ºC).
      – Insult me: "someone of that ilk are not welcome", "big mouth", "liar", "cheater" and degrading what we have done "This has not been by far a complicated edition. Do not fool yourself" (first year without any cyclist at the finish line)
      – I have invited him to talk on the phone and clarify everything as adults (he has not answered me).
      – He has constantly reproached me for not saying on networks that I abandoned, and I play the hero. Luckily I have this video to prove it.
      – From the beginning I was not welcome and even before I signed up he told me that I should not do the race because I was not prepared.

      At the end of the race I spoke with him and I openly explained that I left the track for a few km. between the WP7a and WP8, although it is not in the rules, he disqualified me for that, which I accepted, but from that moment he is persecuting and trying to discredit me on social networks, with followers and collaborators.

      Impresionante Álvaro! 150km con temperaturas de -30 grados no es apto para todos los públicos. Una aventura espectacular, muy bien narrado (y eso que cuando uno pasa frío lo último que le apetece es quitarse los guantes y sacar la cámara). Una pena que la organización no estuviera a la altura. Un saludo Álvaro!
