This is the current form of my ever evolving GT. It's a mix of old mtb and bmx parts either from my spares or 2nd hand.
The front hub is interesting, a Hope XC with a solid 10mm axle, something Hope never offered and I've not been able to find any info on where the axle came from.
I really need to commit to cutting the steerer down, I thought I might swap the forks onto another build but that was almost 2 years ago! Next upgrade is likely to be an internal gear rear wheel build, single speed is always a compromise between cruising speed and hill climbing ability.
