Budapest a.k.a “Paris of the East”. Definitely worth going there.
I wish I could stay longer and explore more. It’s impossible to see everything in just one day and Pest was not properly seen.
It was a long day and I’m very grateful for having such amazing buddies to explore with. Köszönöm Zoli, Samu, Marcin, Bruno, Péter, Atilla and Kevin!

  1. Kommunists bus, gulag bus… So many shit in your heads, guys! Ikarus developed very quickly from garage production to a large bus plant, it prodused up to 14 000 buses per year. Most of them were delivered in USSR. With the collapse of the USSR the plant was stopped. Now it is abandoned.

  2. Oh , Thank you . MIGUEL !
I haven't traveled to this Region , yet , I knew my Grandmother and Family were there 100+ years ago .
I was so very lucky to spend time with All 4 Grandparents after immigration, eventually to the "States" !
    Another Wonderful Production !

  3. Hey, nice video. Pity we couldn't meet, maybe next time.
There are some places in your vid where I had some videos shot but I don't want to ruin your positive impressions of Budapest 😉

  4. At last, the wait is over! A beautiful city with much history. Another excellent film Miguel with interesting background information. Looking forward to Bratislava, Vienna and Berlin, so no pressure!

  5. Nice, I just arrived in Budapest today and your video really helps to get an impression of where to go in the city.
However I cannot recommend going to Budapest by bike, since hungarian bike lanes are basically large potholes with a few pieces of asphalt/concrete in between

  6. Thanks for this amazing video, Miguel! Budapest is one of my favourite cities. I lived there for a year, so this brought back some memories <3
Don't recall ever seeing a bike lane there though. Those must be new 😉
