EPISODE #175
I’m back at it with the TGV boys… with yet another epic 200km battle, this time made even more wild by the fact we are joined by Movistar Pro cyclist Ruben Guerreiro. This guy is a proper local legend around here and a long time friend of the TGV… but he’s not playing nice, he comes to stir up the group ride by absolutely smashing it to bits… thanks mate!

  1. One thing I think would be great to see, is on the long, fast segments, is if you could pop the speed in the bottom corner for us to see how on the rivet you are. I glanced about 60 km/h around the 14 min mark, but couldnt be certain.

  2. Thomas, this was the most hardcore TGV lap we had in 2024, while Troia Sagres was a constant progress, yesterday the last 90km we did an average of 42 km/h, from Vendas Novas to Moita, it was without a doubt another brutal overcoming for all of us .
Your video is simply powerful and real, it's not easy to film with the intensity we had on this tour, it was really demanding. Congratulations, thank you very much for your videos, they are excellent.
The TGV saga continues in 2025, we will have an even more exciting second season 😁.

  3. Superb filming really can’t get enough of your amazing rides. Born near Fatima and living in Canada. Love to see the ride Portugal has to offer.

    Thx and keep it up

  4. Another great video… story telling is the key… format differences don’t matter! Keep up the great work… we all enjoy. One quick question… on average how many watts do you save drafting that big group? Would be interesting to know your average power rising those speeds on your own vs what you need to put out in the back of that pack.

  5. Amazing footage as always. It feels so fast in the middle of the group. Must be even more difficult for you to film and ride. It is also amazing to be in the midst of the TGV and scooping up riders along the way. Best way to go to end of the year. Keep them coming and have a wonderful start of year.

  6. 100% watchable and if you hadn’t said anything about the editing I wouldn’t have said it was of any lesser quality. Please dont spend 12hrs on a video again. Looking fresh with a clean shave too 😊

  7. It’s good as Thomas either way

    Ps
That group is unreal and very scary then throw in the movie star pro oops pain train 👍👌❤️
Have a great new year mate from Australia 🇦🇺 TGV what a bunch of guys

  8. Back in the 80s I was out on a spin and met sean Kelly with a friend of his, a small group of us went along at what I thought was brisk untill sean said nice chatting with ye lads I have to go and off he went with his friend and left what at the time we thought were fit fast lads for dead and he wasn't even trying.
Good on ya sean a great and decent and down to earth fella, and we seen the real difference between pro and what we thought were fast riders.😊
