Elbe River Bicycle Tour – Elbe Radweg: From Germany to Mělník on Day 1.
Join me on the first day of my bicycle tour along the Elbe River in June 2024! Starting in Germany, I crossed into Czechia for the first time on two wheels, enjoying the scenic and relaxed ride to the charming town of Melnik.
Total ride today was 123km long, with 380m of elevation.

Yes, it is nice cycling in the Czech Republic. In 2009 I cycled from Vienna to Prague. The route was not direct, i also came along the border with Poland and even went through Mělník to go along the Moldau to Prague. From Prague I cycled home to NL (Praagroute van de Europafietsers), total of 2000 km in three weeks.
