Since the city game I can't quite understand how things have gone so badly. That result should have given us the confidence to kick on. These players are far better than the results suggest. The chemistry is just rotten right now. Bad vibes from the top right to the bottom. Pure pain.
There is always hope for next year.
Im running out of salt and hot sauce! We needed a few years of Ashworths bland English cooking but nope!
Newcastle just blew down the house within 30 minutes and then simply managed the game for an hour.
Ineos are looking like far worse decision makers than the glazers. Compounded by their Scrooge Mcduck cuts while the first team plays some of the worst football I have ever seen. Keeping Ten Hag, allowing him another 200mm to spend firing him and then hiring a manager who plays a very specific system that requires certain type of players. Zirkzee was awful, by far the worst player on the pitch. Every touch was bad, all his passes were misplaced. He was the only option to take off. We currently have 0 players with X-factor, no Ronaldo, Rooney, Keane, Giggs, Beckham, RVN even the likes of Pogba who were hated at the end had X-factor.
Amorim should take 0 blame, a month ago his team was cruising and unbeaten. They paid him a lot money to leave there and fix our S show. He should live and die with his system, if the players can't play it and we can get relegated, Ineos will deserve this because of their awful decisions.
I know you guys were like it is what it is when it comes to ownership, but our club is awful and it starts at the top. We needed a whole new ownership. But now Sir Scrooge Mcduck owns us and I don't see any way out of this. Our club is more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.
Sirrs, thinking about it this way.. with every other manager post Fergie, we've got a new manager bounce only for it to turn to shit.. time time around, we start with the shit..which only means that it's gonna get better on the other side of it.
BTW we can't ignore the parallels that exist between Fergie and Amorim. Fergie won the title with a struggling Aberdeen side and got them winning in Scotland, breaking the duopoly of Celtic and Rangers, and then taking the big Man Utd job, where he started like shit, almost got the sack.. and then obviously yall know the rest.. Amorim took a struggling Sporting side and got them winning, breaking the duopoly of Porto and Benfica.. and then he took the big Man Utd job….also started like shit…might almost get relegated/sacked… but then you know what's next…21 is coming gents..Harry Magoo is gonna turn into Steve Bruce and score that header to win us the title.. and another 20 years of dominance will follow!! So chin up sirrs..
Either that, or you know, we might get relegated this season and fade away into obscurity!!
