We left Verdon Gorge at leisure and hit the roads to Monaco. We went along some stunning routes, some which were full of beautiful sweeping bends and some of which were very tight narrow wiggly roads.
We hit a city called Grasse around mid-day. It was stifling. We made the decision to ignore the sat nav and head straight to Monaco for lunch and a cool off.
After Monaco, we headed to the next town along, Menton, where we were staying for the next two nights. It proceeded to be an awful experience in Menton with regards to our hotel…you have to watch to see why!
