Its nothing like described here. The old school house is nothing really. If your idea of charm and culture is a load of aggressive dog loving chavs… this town is ideal. Now let's talk about Wellend Park Road and the drug dealers down the end in the flats and constant thefts from the supermarkets of which there are quite a few. It's a dive. Rhe market sells rubbish and is not thriving at all in fact its a waste of tax payers money as its a council building. Oh did I mention racism? It took 50 years for me to receive racial abuse in the uk….when I moved to MH!
