This one is scorchingly hot but here goes:
Primoz Roglic will win the tour de france
An American will win a grand tour stage
My guess is that Pogacar will win the tour-vuelta double and three monuments but will not win the world championship. Because Remco will win it.
The other two monuments will be won between Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert.
Roglic will win the giro and will crash out at the tour.
Pogacar to win all 5 monuments plus Tour and WC RR.
Paul Seixas to win a stage in the Dauphine.
AWP to win a classic.
Del Toro to finish top 5 in the Giro and ahead of Ayuso.
Hottest take of all – The Cipressa finally sees the race winning move in MSR after so long in the shadows of the Poggio.
I can make a very safe prediction: MVDP will win a 7th Cyclocross world title
Tom precook will win Tour de France or the giro is he competes. MVDP will win the uci mountain biking and pogi will dominate all of the cobbled classics etc.
Prediction: I will not win anything in 2025 but I will substantially improve my FTP. 🤣

My hot takes (might be kinda controversial, live with it):
1. Jonas Vingegaard will (hopefully) not crash, and get a perfect prep for the Tour de France. Then he will go beat Pogacar's ass.
2. Demi Vollering will win Tour de France femmes, and at least win 2 stages.
3. Jonas Vingegaard will be world champion in road cycling.
4. WVA will win at least one monument. (I hope)
5. Primož Roglič will crash at least once.
6. MVPD will win 2 monuments.

Well, on the subject of Hot Takes…in the slightly less prestigious GCN racing ranks, Dan deserves to take a victory lap for predicting the exact order of GCN Presenter drop-outs.
Pogacar will win most of the races on the Colnago Y1RS!!
1. Derek Gee will podium at the Giro.
2. Vingegaard will defeat Pogačar at the Tour, the way he did in 2023.
3. Van Aert will win Flanders and Paris-Roubaix
4. MVDP will have a tough season
World Tour Racing Predictions:
1. TdF helicopter pilots will threaten a strike/action unless they get a contract vs drones
2. A limit on the armada of motorcycles for racing events will be announced
3. Change to age limits for WT Pro riders

I do believe that win was gifted to Cav… he was not that great, and all of a sudden, he just dtopped everyone.. mmmhhh… I wonder…
Milan definitely is not going to win the green jersey. Maybe a stage if he participated
My hot takes:
1. Vingegaard will podium the WC RR
2. Roglic won’t win the Giro
3. Another bardiani rider will shine at the Giro and get signed by a WT team for the 2026 season
4. Jack Burke will get a trainee contract in the mid season on a WT or PC team
5. Alaphilippe will podium a stage in the tour if Tudor gets a wildcard
6. Andreas Kron will win a 1.1 race or a minor classic for Uno-x
7. Wout Van Aert doesn’t win any major classic
8. Pogacar will accomplish all of his goals for 2025 (except Milan-san remo)
9. Roglic is not on Bora after the end of the 2025 season
10. Laurence Pithie will win either Gent-Wevelgem or Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne

Just thinking about these predictions gets me excited for 2025. I just want these big named riders to stay healthy (sorry, Remco)….then bring it on!

I would watch del toro and abrahamsen this year. They may not win, but I think they will both start to rise toward the top and stand out in the next couple of years.
1 van gils top 3 in amstel, fleche and liege.
2 van eetvelt wins at least 1 GT stage.
3 pedersen wins gent and paris roubaix.
4 mvdp beats pogi in RVV.
5 pithie wins E3.
5 de lie learns how to properly sprint.
6 Axel Zingle riceives the "Jorgenson" treatment and becomes a huge threat in one day races and a great domestique in stage races.
7 Marco Brenner takes the maglia azzurra at giro d'italia.
8 O'connor pulls another insane upset out of his butt and he gets a top 3 in a major race.

Pidcock will have his best season yet not sure what races but he’s going to crush it
Pogacar will win Tour and get 2nd in Vuelta win Milano San Remo and I’ll lombarda and strade Biachinic
At 3:23 Dan says MVDP has won 7 monuments. Isn’t it actually 6? San Remo, Flanders x3, Roubaix x2.

I soooo hope Jonathan Milan is made Trek's #1 Sprinter. He was amazing in the Giro. So many more opportunities in the Tour and Mads has not been delivering.
