I ride from Keetmanshoop to Goibib lodge, in the mountains of Southern Namibia, in Africa.
About 40 kilometers after leaving Keetmanshoop, I stop at Kitchen 51 to have breakfast and to recharge my battery for the afternoon. The woman running the lodge welcomes me in an incredible way. She gives me a huge, delicious breakfast, and she refuses that I pay for anything. What an incredible hospitality!
After on long way uphill, I finally reach Goibib lodge, and as he sees me on a tricycle, the owner proposes me a huge discount on the price of the room of his lodge. The hospitality is really mind boggling in Namibia.

Here is the Instagram Page of the lodge that offered me a free breakfast:

Here is the video of “Kamran on Bike”, that perfectly defines bicycle touring, in my opinion:

  1. Namibian Kitchen 51 enlivened your morning stamina to conquer but to starve again in need of lunch under the bird's castle in the tree!

Do your legs [knees] get tired?

  3. I would imagine you are past the need by now, but if your battery only needs a fuse you can probably get an auto mechanic/electrician to solder in one of similar capacity (though the voltage wouldnt match) alternately he could bypass it, though this risks damage to other components

  4. Those nests are made by sociable weaver birds. When the birds abandon them, they are inhabited by snakes most of the time. Be careful when getting too close.

  5. And there are still some people In America telling people not to travel to Africa that its too dangerous
Face the fact;Every country is dangerous and as well as hospitable
