Hey everybody I hope you guys had a good Christmas and going to leave it to the amateurs for New Year's lieutenant Dan is back!!
For the Mongoose XR75 build That everybody says I'm crazy for doing Lol
First of all I've had the CPA go over the numbers as of now & we are under budget at $575.64 I am sure That I might have missed a couple things this does not include sandblasting and powder coating but I will get that probably for about $30!!
After doing some research I only found one bracket that converts the rear over on a BMX type of frame and I have included that on page one and whoever said earlier that they aren't very stable you're absolutely correct!! So what I'm going to do once all the parts arrive & I can get things put together and measured properly I am going to have a bracket welded on the b pillar on the left hand side of the bike when I'm sitting down then a support put in between the A and b pillar. That should redirect the force back to the caliper and disc on the rear side.
I have used a lot of Shimano parts and had discovered that they are Forward and backwards compatible so the parts that are wireless I'm going to get a internal battery pack a wireless signal and an A connection so all of them can talk and improve the handling and shifting of the mountain bike!!
Because we all know I came before the digital age and I haven't had that technology readily available even though it's been out for a good minute!! I have put together a parts list for everyone to take a look at Make suggestions let me know what I have missed because I'm sure there's something other than an extra long stem bolt to go in my quill on the headset, & with a little luck I can order most of these parts before we have massive tariffs on things coming into this country from other countries enjoy again please feel free to give me all the feedback and have a safe New Year
