wow ….. been listening for ages ….. only just learnt after all this time that "Cade" is your surname … i thought it was some weird cycling term 😆
I'm not on all trends but how come I find out of these problems only on this channel, all the rest of the channels are "bought" which is very depressing.
regarding "bikes are not expensive", MTBs have gotten much better (12 speed, hollowtech bottom bracket, hydralic disk brakes) and you get that on sub-800€ MTBs that on the 2010s were much worse in components, somehow the "upgrades" don't seem to get cheaper on road bikes. Suspicious isn't it?
The turned lever i believe was implemented by Tim Wellens to mimic the outlawed puppy paw riding position, being able to reach the hoods . ?

In some parts of Australia (alpine Tasmania in the summer) even if you are moving the flies will still come.

Bladders are ‘Get in the bin for me’ – I don’t want extra stiff on my body causing sweat etc. I try not to have too much in my pockets as it is.
Jimmy's comment "we're going to make curry from the leftovers" highlights how much England has changed since my parents left Brighton for Montreal in 1957 (I was born in '60). My mum would turn leftovers into something called "bubble and squeak" which I think was just pan fried leftovers. Curry certainly existed during my parent's time in England but it wouldn't have been something my mum would have considered.
I get you Emily, JWE 1 is a great game. I found the sequel to be so detailed it's a bit boring. My kids love the first one and still play it.

Jimmy’s work story about his secret Santa reminded me of an episode of Seinfeld where George who hasn’t bought any presents for a secret Santa just gives out cards to everybody to say that a donation has been made in their name to The Human Fund (a charity that doesn’t actually exist) and he hasn’t actually paid any money whatsoever and everybody gets upset by it.
