This is the second time, for me, a Suntour XCR fork has had its dropouts break apart. I've now got myself a used Society Xeno fork and it is sick. It's so much stiffer and feels just great when cornering.
The Society is a tad bit heavier than the Suntours, but all that metal around the axle, gives me assurance that I won't have the front wheel disappearing out from front of me
No more open dropout forks for me.
