Alright, let's get it on.
Its always such a treat when you upload. Merry Christmas
welcome to Earph
Holy shit when I saw the Mech in the thumbnail I thought "No way somebody finally made an Earth2150 review"
Merry Christmas to me thanks my guy
Isoteric political belives of the developers, the radio-edit OST included with the game's AMV and an absolutely nightmarish and insufferable barely-working sequel. Put your sun goggles on girls and boys, it's time for eurojunk.
I look forward to watching your Earth 2160 showdown. ; )
I too remember having my socks blown off by the graphical powerhouse that it was when I first played it Christmas day in 2000. My dad even hooked up the TV so I play it on the "big" screen. I'm really glad you highlighted the videos, great job! Back then I'd spend hours to complete the game so I could see those dark shadowy videos. They had that touch of Starship Troopers that made them so enjoyable. I played 2150 before 2140 so the soundtrack was enjoyable whiplash.
I do and don't want you to cover 2160. It looked like it had so much promise. The graphics looked like they only got better with more detailed envirnoments – but the gameplay. It's soooo rough. I recall trying to make heads or tails of the damage type system and nothing making sense. One of those games where you felt you couldn't trust the game UI to inform you of the real stats and interactions. Just having to tank endless enemy waves with your one goofy hero.
Sweet delectable Polikarpov, an Earth 2150 video!?
Made me realise that, aside from IG2, the gameplay of this and 2100 are among my most persistent brain worms. The heavy emphasis on persistence and deep veterancy levels just do it for me.
Though, I played more of World War III: Black Gold, which was pretty simplified in the unit design department, on account on basically being made for GWOT.
This series of games were one of my favorite. Walking robots are cool. Thanks for the video.
great videos btw. i want to be on your podcast
This (12:33) reminds me of how, playing this game a quarter of a century ago as a kid, I didn't quite understand the reaction of the faction leader. Is biting considered impolite in lunar culture?
I guess that also explains why everyone was so angry when I accidentally allowed the Hero of the Lunar Corporation get unceremoniously one-zapped by an out-of-the-blue laser tank in that one mission. Half of their male population was lost that day 😀
Earth 2160 review would be interesting to watch. Merry Christmas!
2160 commits so many sins, but the cardinal one is the betrayal of the mystique and atmosphere of 2150.
Love your channel so much! So glad I discovered it! Pumped to watch this one.
Thank you for the video, great stuff👍 And good chuckles here and there, aging figurehead and all that
Commneting below so you know there's interest
Earth 2160 gave me so many mixed feelings. It had things I loved and hated. All in all I say it was huge wasted potential. Still, personally I would like to see solid review of that one 😉
I'm down for 2160, yo!
Please tear Earth 2060 a new hole.
Warzone 2100 was really great though..
Almost 25 years later it still is the greatest RTS ever made.
'interest'
Thank you for mentioning our community patches there! It's very nice to see that my work is useful for other players. 😊
