I'd change the difficulty in finding 6hrs for riding my bike, plus faffing time, every day to easy.
Pipe-dream > Fix global warming to reduce windy days for cycling; I'd give-up the best tailwinds to lose the strongest headwinds; more atmospheric energy can mean more wind.

Headwinds!
If I could change one thing about cycling:
1) Pipe dream = eliminate personal automobiles
2) More uninterrupted bike routes with out traffic and stops; Dedicated paths, Rails to trails, waterfront loops, bike highways, etc.
Cycling would be better if ….. We had an App where we could watch our favourite presenters taking on challenges, follow cycling news and watch Live cycling events around the world, year round 🤔. Just imagine something as crazy as this
I feel that behaviour of drivers would be the biggest thing for me. Being close passed is such a threat that my wife no longer cycles with me (never felt safe enough to ride on the roads on her own). UK.

Cycling would be even better if the industry was serious about rider safety. I really don't understand why major kit brands are not widely developing & producing things like road rash reducing jerseys and lightweight spine protectors for road cyclists.

I would give the opportunity for drivers convicted of close passes to either take the fine and points or, cycle to work for 2 weeks so that they can experience what it is like to be a cyclist on the road.
Rim brake bikes. I've been riding fixed gear, track bikes & my old(2012 Kestrel Legend[road]) since "19". Don't intend buy disc or shorter cranks….

The only thing needs to change in cycling is the headwinds into tailwinds
Change the fettish like mentality that surrounds cycling. It’s a bit much.
I would ensure all cars use new technology to prevent cars from hitting bikes. Every bike should be build with a pinging device that every car is designed to detect and avoid.
I liked Connor’s custom Orbea color choices! Given that you also liked the Jayco and Canyon/SRAM jerseys, I think you did too… just not as much as you like giving Connor grief!😎❤️

Hill climb races would be eligible for category upgrade points.
Pie-in-the-sky, I'd like to see at least half the world's petrol/gasoline-powered vehicles replaced with bicycles. It would drastically reduce the incidence of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer worldwide, mitigate the climate crisis and quiet the roads. It would also give me half a chance to go faster than some other people for at least a few months until they got fit.
