Three countries, 6000km, 12 epic days and one legendary motorcycle! I travel to Norway, buy an old Honda Africa Twin and prep it for the ultimate adventure ride to the Arctic Circle. It is one of the toughest but most rewarding motorcycle adventures I have ever done and so fulfilling to do it on my very own adventure bike!
Travelling solo, I’m carrying some compact camping gear, a few spares and tools, my camera equipment and a bit of food. The rest, as usual, I just make up as I go. Riding off-road tracks through the vast forests of Sweden to Norway’s remote Nordic Tundra, this ride is truly a life-enhancing experience.
I see wild Moose, Reindeer, Mink and Grouse on this journey, so come with me to the top of the world on my 1992 Honda XRV750 Africa Twin, which I have aptly named The Warhorse!

Blown away by all the comments and show of support for my films, so thank you everyone.
This was a tough one as you can probably tell but I'm just grateful to be able to bring these productions to life and inspire people to ride.
The comments are coming in thick and fast, I do try and read them all so please know your connection with me is felt. To answer the number one question that seems to baffle people …
Yes, I travelled alone on this project so 100% I did all the filming myself. I carry a small DSLR, drone and laptop/hard drives in my backpack. The drone shots are the most difficult and time consuming as it sometimes takes multiple attempts to keep the tracking locked on me, made all the more tricky adjusting the controller on the fly which is attached to my handlebars during the scenes.
If you watch to the end of the video, there is the option to become a member and watch 'Preparing The Warhorse' where I show my whole kit and set up for this production.
Thanks again for the support …
Adam
You’re pretty good with that Mavic too. Great shots from the drone. Great shots from your GoPro or whatever you are using. People don’t really grasp how much filming everything adds to the pack and the amount of work making a video really is.
I wonder how long that plumber epoxy lasted?
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!!
19:50 oh god thats hilarious
i honestly love the africa V twin my only issue is that they're just way too big for me not the engine size just the height of them the newer ones are even bigger 🙁
Very good movie and presentation. 👍🏻👏. What model year of old Africa Twin do you consider that it is the best to buy ?
A very poetic and moving look inside why we do what we do. Well said and quite moving.
Bro what is your height you look so comfortable on those big bikes.

Hi Adam, this is the first video I've seen from you, but I'm kind of new to the hobby /lifestyle. Very breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing!
i love this monster 😘😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
I wrote down the quote you started at 18:38. I’m going to make a poster out of it. You should do the same and sell it.
This was superbly executed, bravo!
7.16 magic smile!
I know that I'm late to the party, but cheers to your passion and cheers to 'The Warhorse'!! Infectious!! Lofoten!!!!!

I have never felt more free than being self-sufficient on a motorcycle tour. All the gear you need and no plan, just you and the road.

Ahhh this is Amazinggg!!! I have a XRV750 same as that and I can't wait to go on adventures with it. It's still a bit early in my life for anything like that. But one day 🙂
Woaw that one is still in such good condition.
Nothing like beaver-feaver lake water in the morning!

Beatiful fotografies and about a bike I always dreamed about. Themid 90's colurs are bad! Love it!
Thanks for sharing the 'movie' and, more importantly, your insights and thought-provoking words.
I'm starting a somewhat same journey, being 55 and longing to see the world for a couple of years now. Kids are grown up now. It is time to search for my own 'WarHorse' and make the best of it.
Cheers!
My God You're A Dangerous one Hell Of A Rider …. Literally … you've Just Earned A Lifetime Fan ♥️…. Luv From Pakistan Brother 💞
How is the drone being controlled? D:
love it! what drone are you using? skydio?
Thank you so much for making this video! Amazing. I noticed three different times during the video you mentioned how finite our time is in this life. You are very aware of your humanity and how quickly it ticks away. I really appreciate you taking us with you on this journey. What I got out of it: Don't just wish for things to happen, take action. Make it happen. And: A little discomfort builds the greatest memories.
Danke! 👍👍
Hey Adam.
Did you cross the Swedish Finland border near Mounio? That border crossing looked very familiar to me
