The Eryri National Park in Wales is one of the most breathtaking places in the whole of the UK with stunning scenery, rich culture and history!
It also happens to be a cyclist’s dream as it is home to the 200km Traws Eryri trail that takes you through the mountains and forests of Snowdonia. Si being Si, decided to traverse the whole trail in ONE day!

Thanks to @SRAM and @zippspeed

  1. I completely understand that feeling Si mentioned in regards to the "final drop in Conway". I've completed the Boone North Carolina 100 mile Gran Fondo three years in a row so far. It's 95 miles through the North Carolina mountains with a total elevation gain of 9000ft. That final drop on the main road into Boone. Going 35-40mph, in full tuck. Wow that is one of the most happiest and strongest dopamine hits I've ever had. Each year I get stronger and faster. And that dopamine hit gets stronger and stronger. Knowing that you've spent 5-7hrs riding 95miles up and down a real mountain all day long. How much you suffered at some points. The will power to keep pedaling even though at times your mind, legs and body try to discourage you. Then completing an event like that. The downhill speed and rush of fresh air. Legs not spinning for once. Knowing, no one did it for you. You literally did it on your own. The strength and sheer willpower of the human spirit. That's what life is all about.

    Congrats Si. Cheers
