Hey guys, i passed by my local bike co-op a while back and saw this on display
This belongs to the head mechanic. It was his daily, he just rode it normally out and about. a few bike packing trips.
One day after cresting a hill, he fell from the bike for no reason. The frame split in half at the head tube.
He was uninjured.
The bike gave no warning
a lot of the jagged fractured surface is dull gray, just the top 1/4 is shiny
