  1. Happy New Year!! At about 14:15 you pass by a small roadblock. I think this happened in Sudan also? How do you know which ones you must stop at and which you can pass through? Do you just wait for them to indicate that you should stop?

  3. Seems going through tall grass is a bit risky (snakes etc). Yeah would be a bit interesting to have a little bit about sleeping in the forest for example, what sounds you hear, or what creatures you see, etc. In daily life, would be interesting to have some general comments about countries (all comments you guys make are "all are friendly"). For example a little bit more about your observation regarding cleanliness, or economy, or roads or general wellbeing or cars. It seems to me that Kenya was a little bit more developed compared to Uganda. Also, seems Ugandans and Tanzanians like old Japanese cars, some of them are pretty interesting, we don't see those anymore here. I know, as a guest you have to be very careful what you say as not to be rude but some deeper insight would be welcomed just as what you think passing by as you are already in the third sub-Saharan country. Cheers!

  4. 32:53. Some kind of grain silo maybe?
Loving the video. Congratulations on being in Tanzania! It's astonishing how different the infrastructure was as soon as you crossed the border – and even the weather was different! That surprised me.
    Hope you are doing well.

  5. Nice pictures of the birds. Good stuff. Hope to see more coverage on the place where you are staying etc. great videos so far and enjoyed them. Keep it up and all the bestπŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‘πŸ»

  6. I was sitting in a tent, wildcamping somewhere in Spain, when you uploaded the video. Makes my "adventures" dull, but you inspire me to do more :).

  7. Vid ett tillfΓ€lle sΓ₯ undrar du vad det var du sΓ₯g, jag tror de anvΓ€nder de dΓ€r konstruktionerna till att samla upp regnvatten. LΓ₯ter det rimligt?

  8. Hello, Patrick.
I'm following your trip from the start… I'm always waiting for the next video. Your trip is amazing and a dream for me to accomplish. Some day I'll try it too.

Be safe and enjoy. The videos are very good. Keep it this way.
    Bests of lucks.

  9. Thanks Patrick, I’m so much enjoying following your journey, it has been the highlight of my annual holiday!! – CV19 restricted!! It has brought back so many memories, and inspired more journeys! In the 80’s I went travelling overland with my girlfriend – (still my partner) through Sudan into Egypt, and on to Europe; catching trains, buses, ferries after flying into Khartoum from Kenya. (I was born in Kenya – live in Australia) Love your commentary, and the β€˜selfie stick panoramas’ and of course occasional use of the drone; leaving the journey to speak mostly for itself. The scenery is fantastic, we have a beautiful world! It is always a danger to focus on the minutiae of day to day problems, you have made it really enjoyable for the viewer by including difficulties without dwelling on them! And there would be lots of difficulties!!!! Thanks again, stay safe and keep enjoying the trip. Looking forward to the next instalment!! So very appreciative. Sean & Les

  12. Hey Patrick, so far I have watched every single video up until now. Every now and then another episode in the evening πŸ™‚ I really love the way you're making the videos because it is different from what u usually see on social media: super fast, high amount of cutscenes etc.. Your videos instead invite to enjoy and really grasp the atmosphere of where ur at currently. I am actually about to start my own bicycle trip in June and while on the search for inspiration I found your channel.

How long did you plan this trip by the way? And (if I may ask) did you have a reason for starting this adventure?

Best greetings and thumbs up πŸ™‚

  13. Can't help but think you've missed a trick by avoiding wildlife, given that it has to be one of the main attractions East Africa has to offer….
