Hi all I’m leaning towards a Gestalt XR for a number of reasons and am on the fence for sizing … medium-large.
I’m 177cm, mid forties, all average, overweight haha.
Currently been riding a Ragley Marley 2.0 hardtail in a medium: I know it’s a different kettle of fish but I often find myself wishing the Ragley was a tad larger… it’s slooow on climbs (a lot of that could be my fitness and weight!)…but even on flats I struggle its not built for speed or climbing really so I get that, but I long for travelling longer distances (with more speed)…

27.5wheels, in medium is noted as 435 reach, 622 effective top tube, 613 stack
The Gestalt XR in large as stated on Marin webpage has 440 reach, 609 eff. top tube, stack 589
So basically this looks like the large Marin size isn’t really larger than the medium Ragley‽
Anyone have a Gestalt XR could assist with the sizing‽
