Hello!
1st post here and a new to cycling. Trying to explore the outdoors (I work from home) during the weekends and lose some weight at the same time. I went to my local REI store and found an amazing bike the DRT 1.1 for sale which I thought was kind of expensive as I am more used to Walmart Bikes. I had a Huffy in Middle School and for some reason I stopped riding. The store associates directed me to the CTY 1.1 which I also liked. Then I started researching more on bikes and finally found the Poseidon on sale + an additional $100 off. So I pulled the trigger on that and now waiting for a shipping date. But then I also found the Canyon Roadlite for about the same price and started having buyers remorse.
Need suggestions. Did I make an horrible mistake or is the Poseidon Redwood a good bike for $599? Im mostly going to ride in the trails we have.
***Also should I take it to my local bike shop for an extra $90 to have them build it, tune it, and fit it? Or built it myself?***
