The Kerch Bridge, connecting Russia to the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula, is one of the most important pieces of infrastructure in the war in Ukraine.
It has both road and rail lines.
Russia is using road and rail bridges to push troops and supplies to the front line in southern Ukraine. The bridge is also the primary supply route for the important Russian garrison in Crimea.

The Kerch Strait, where the bridge is located, is vital for logistically supporting Russian forces in southern Ukraine.
Alongside the bridge, the Russian Navy operates a number of military and civilian ships to transport troops and supplies from Russia to Crimea.
This key feature of the bridge makes it key to the war and one of the most strategic targets of the Ukrainian offensive.

The Kerch Bridge, the personal project of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has a wider significance for the Kremlin besides its military value. Therefore, there are significant forces guarding it.

But at some point before the war in Ukraine ends, Ukrainian forces will try to liberate the Crimean Peninsula.
The Kiev leadership has repeatedly stated this.

The Ukrainians have set their sights on the Kerch Bridge, the most important connecting route for the Russian army in Crimea.

The Kerch Bridge was attacked several times by the Ukrainian army after it became a critical supply route for Russian forces after the start of Moscow’s full-scale occupation.

The bridge was heavily damaged by Ukrainian attacks in October 2022 and July 2023.

On September 27, Russia allegedly reinforced the defenses around the Kerch Bridge, including by deploying underwater drone traps.

However, these measures did not deter the Ukrainian military from attacking the bridge.
The Kiev regime has already repeatedly stated that Kerch is the main target.

In December 2024, an incredible attack on the Kerch Bridge took place, just as Kiev had promised.

Moscow reported that Ukraine had targeted the Kerch Bridge and the Black Sea shipyard in Crimea and that the attack had been foiled by the Naval Aviation of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.

  1. After Miserable Debacles At Iran & Syria, Puddenhead Putin💀Can Expect The Worst Blow at Invinsible Ukraine's👉 FightOut Backed By Dangerous 💪NATO. Truce Or Flee Ukrraine & Go Extinct With His Bridge..

  2. I don’t believe I’m not Russian but I live in Russia
Mr the PRESIDENT Vladimir PUTIN will not let your stupid narration occur the PRESIDENT will do all to protect that bridge wait andITTEN BY GOD see
MR PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN YOU ARE THE BEST GOD WITH YOU EVN IF ITS A PROPHESY WHICH IS ACCOMPLISHING KEEP ON MR THE PRESIDENT

  3. Too bad that bridge is being used to bring supplies for the offensive action against Ukraine.
During peace the bridge would be an economic asset for both nations…

  4. I highly doubt Ukraine has the spare manpower to take Crimea. They are just about holding other fronts and trying to move all forces to a western model. But Crimea fixes in place a huge amount of Russian resources so better to chip away at it's supply lines and give the impression of an immediate attack any day now.

  5. It's amazing how unconcerned NATO and Europe are towards winning the war. Weird. They are probably expecting US to foot the bill. Not gonna happen under Trump. USA can afford to delay helping, but Europe is ill-prepared to let this continue to go on in perpetuity.

  6. That is absolutely untrue… one 60 year old B-52 given to Ukraine could obliterate 2 miles of that bridge and causeway in one pass. After $80 billion we’ve given them, what’s a few million more?

  7. It would also be interesting if Ukraine can figure out how to mount HIMARS on their unmanned surface drones. Imagine getting attacked by ATACMS, HIMARS, unmanned surface drones and aerial drones simultaneously. Add Storm Shadows to the mix and Ukraine could probably overwhelm the Russian defenses of the bridge. Launch the ATACMS from land, unmanned aerial drones, Storm Shadows, and I'm sure that they could figure out how to get a six pack of HIMARS on a surface drone so maybe half a dozen to a dozen HIMARS equipped surface drones and the Russians wouldn't stand a chance of stopping it all. The United States Marine Corp has figured out how to launch HIMARS from their amphibious assault ships so the missiles are capable of being sea launched which makes it possible.

  8. It is a mistake for Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons to Russiai n exchange for peace. You can't trust Russia. It is dangerous for Russia to get hold of nuclear weapons. Look at their history how they had invaded so many countries.

  9. Thats stupid then they just have to build another one . And they already agreed to a cess fired . Russia has been getting rid of there old weapons. They wont be getting more weapons .these wars need shut down .

  10. Kerch Bridge rail beam was structurally damaged by the oil wagon fires burning for hours. Trains can cross but only when lightly loaded. Russia expends considerable resources on protecting what’s left. Ukraine keeps them guessing.

  11. A poem. Vladimir the Blue.

    By James Arnold

Upon a lonely leafy ground, stood a poor and ancient – monument.

Red square, A colorful mosaic, a little lie, a detriment….

Of Moscow now deceased,  and Peter oh to thrive. Russia died and there demised in 20- 25

    Burned there to the ground,
    It was once a toasting,
The terror liar of the world,
A fake so loud and boasting,

He died in Twenty twenty five
And there – it was but roasted.
All its cities burning, no one caring,
    Just as he had toasted.

    And all his words untrue,
Just as more than few .

Gone is Russia gone forever – under Vladimir the Blue!
    Russia may rise up again,

But death lasts and lasts forever,
but Russia drowns beneath the world,
    Forever and forever.

How the so called mighty falls,
    The robbers of its own,

And Russia will be cast away
    Forever there to mourn.

    All its cities burning,
    all its words untrue,
Gone is Russia- gone forever – under Vladimir the Blue.

  12. So now please notice what will happen? After the war, Hungary will be treated in the same conditions as other countries, the preliminary gas agreement between the Russian Federation and Hungary will be as written in accordance with the agreement, "BUT" for some reason the Russian side will change the terms of the agreement to certain ones. I know that you have to pretend something, that you love Moscow, or at least pretend that you love it. "BUT" prices for gas and oil will be more expensive again than in the preliminary agreement. This will be an endless pathology. As I wrote, the American side is definitely only better and for many different reasons. A045

  13. So with over 23 minutes of blabber, all you have to say is that the Ukranians want to destroy the bridge, but have yet to accomplish this. Is there any actual news to report?
