dont really agree with all you say here 1derful but on Mercedes part in the constructive involvement in what we have seen I am with you. There are many reason I could site but will just state a few.
Firstly I would say That black people have always had to show some protest or fight in various ways against oppressive behavior affecting our human rights that we enjoy today because some person at some point in history fought on their own some in groups some lost their lives for the cause and I see what Lewis is enduring is very similar. If it inspires more of out own to take on that fight to achieve something we are trying to do that is a great thing. that's all I will say on that .

Toto many not be head honcho but is is 1 3rd owner of Mercedes F1 (as well as being involved/invested in the other teams.) Not sure how much that F1 part of Mercedes are worth but as you know the day Lewis leaving was announced Mercedes Stock reportedly dropped by 7billion while Ferrari grew by 4-6 billion!!!. Yes there are contingencies but that is a loss in any accountant books that someone has to be accountable for.
Despite the many people who denigrate Lewis and claim he is past it there is no driver in F1 that has that x factor effect. Mercedes had to do something to plug the damn of losses they will suffer still further when fans start switching to Ferrari Merch. We have this week seen the power of that even at Red bull with checo's merch sales supposedly being one of the deciding factors to keep him on board with Red Bull. This is different to being a paid driver which I know you probably know but some reading might not be aware. So then who has Mercedes really got to replace that kind of impact to their F1 brand initially?? George?????????, Kimi Antonelli??????? wont go into reasons why I dont think they even come close but I think you know what I mean.
So then we see that Toto was desperately seek Max like the famous Madonna movie "desperately seeking Susan" lol.. I jest. But Max is the inform winningest driver in F1 at the moment with no real consistent challenger. I would imagine any team securing Max would also secure a hike in their stock worth. Toto knows stock and share are all about confidence in a brand that is why his desperation to get Max was so evident even bringing a retort from Max lol. Lewis has dented Mercedes F1 brand confidence (That is the reason Monster pulled their sponsorship for Mercedes F1 but continued to sponsor Lewis. Lewis has given the initiative to arguably the biggest team that has raced in F1. Making Lewis now look bad and George good seems like a strategic way to regain some confidence to Merc while trying to diminish Lewis's world wide x factor superstar F1 driver status as he get closer to starting in the red car. The problem Mercedes F1 now face is they dont have a driver to give them all that they are truly losing as Lewis departure becomes ever nearer.
So that one you mention to about the car suddenly coming good as Lewis is about to go and the benefit goes to a ?????

Here, in the Rhondda drivers would have heart attacks if the ignorant gits did that on the mountain road, where places were especially made for them to do just that, which they gleefully ignore. 5:04 why is this clip in here? The line was dotted on your side. The biker was well within his rights to overtake, especially considering it looks like you are doing about 25 in a 50. It's actually more dangerous for him to sit behind you. With regards to oncoming traffic there was enough room to fit 3 SUV's there mirror to mirror, loads of room for a bike to quickly squeeze through.
Some of these videos show the drivers bad driving with the camera don't they, some folk just like to create situations for their new toy camera don't they.
