I’m planning to go overseas with my Brompton and was initially planning to get the President Luggage (which was suggested by many here). Went to my local Brompton AD today and they told me that the President Luggage has about a 3 year lifespan before the wheels just disintegrated and breaks and there’s no replacement.
He mentioned that this XXF V2 Travel Hard Bike Case is exactly the same material and quality as the President Luggage with the additional bonus of having replacement parts for the wheels.
Unfortunately they didn’t have the physical stock in the retail outlet so I couldn’t look at it irl. Hence, curious to know if anyone personally owns this and can give your thoughts on it! 😊
P.s: I know some might suggest using a dimpa bag + cardboard. I just personally find that to be a hassle and prefer a solid luggage with 4 wheels for convenience.
