December in Cologne. 3deg, some wind from the northern direction, a light drizzle. Not the best weather for cycling, but at least not a rainstorm. It wasn’t that early when I started, but sunrise is just late at this time of the year. So started in the dark, and realized that with this weather it wouldn’t really get bright anyhow. Die a loop to the north-west of Cologne, around Sinnersdorf, Stommeln and Buesdorf. On the way back I passed the Brauweiler Abbey, a memorial for a deportation camp, and the Cologne football stadium.
