For the first time in the world, a gas turbine powered 100% by hydrogen has been successfully tested in France, in Limoges. This historic achievement paves the way for the rapid decarbonization of highly CO2-emitting industrial sites such as cement plants. The announcement was made during a press conference by the Hyflexpower consortium, which includes Engie, Siemens Energy, Centrax, and European universities.
