Sue Townsend is based in Suffolk and works throughout East Anglia. She’s won numerous awards from the Society of Garden Designers and the British Association of Landscape Industries. She talks to Annie about how she got started, her period of being the BBC Blue Peter Gardener (a popular and very long-standing British children’s TV programme) and the challenges and satisfactions of working in the dry east of England, coastal locations, and at many different scales.
