UK Walking tour – VIKING WAY PART 2 – Bonby Lodge to Barnetby Top. #walking #cycling

Viking Way Part 2 – Bonby Lodge to Barnetby Top. A Winter’s day cycle ride this time. I will be walking most of the 149 mile Long Distance Walking Trail, but today is quite an uninteresting stretch of the Viking Way.

There is a pub called the Whistle and Flute in Barnetby, a Co-op shop and smaller shops. There is also a hotel. There is a railway station with trains to Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Doncaster, Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham and much further afield.

My route today ends at the A180 when there is an impassable section and across very busy roads. Once entered Barnetby it is a tarmac road . I will resume walking on Part 3 at Barnetby to Caistor that will be done on the 30th November and uploaded a few days later
