Welcome to part 15 of this Chesterfield Canal Restoration series. We’re back in Staveley and after all the excitement of the construction work on the bridge, it’s time for the official ceremonial opening.
Present were members of the Chesterfield Canal Trust, Derbyshire County Council, Staveley Town Deal, O’Briens, Tran Pennine Trail, Cycle Chesterfield amongst others.
We also hear about the immediate plans for the next restoration stages.

I don't think any of your subscribers will moan about another Chesterfield Canal video,Paul….all updates are gratefully appreciated but are a reminder for me that i only live about 12 miles away and need to get off my arse and get back up there to walk across that bridge😅
