Ive always found ridegps to be seriously lacking at times in the netherlands, it tends to apply a uk logic of cycling is allowed on a road because of its grade, but thats not always the case here. I always use Komoot although its still not without its issues which mostly come from the sheer volume of cycle infra here and its algorithm can get confused by it. So pleased you enjoy cycling here, i think all cyclists should experience rural netherlands at least once to see what is really possible. Maybe you can do a redo next year as the Afsluitdijk (affs-lout-dike) is due to reopen fully (maybe lol)

I would suggest trying Richard Fairhurst's cycle.travel. Like the other route planners, it is based on Open Street Maps, but is quite easy to use.
Thanks for this series, really enjoyable! I find your enthusiasm amazing even as you battle the elements and still continue to praise cycling in the Netherlands. I would love to go but it is such a looong way from Vancouver BC.
