An epic journey through the Vosges mountains where we will explore fortified castles and picturesque villages, on trails where nature is both wild and preserved before finishing their adventure on the ramparts of Obernai, one of the most beautiful towns in France.
The 114km race, which has 4,200 meters of elevation, will start from Orschwiller, home of the famous Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, symbolically located at a hundred meters from the “border” between the two departments. After a passage in the wine paths, we will reach the small town of Saint-Hippolyte before entering the enclosure of Haut-Koenigsbourg which will mark the beginning of our ride through about twenty castles. We will follow the path of wonders to the meeting place of Saint Odile, as well as the abbey of Mont Saint Odile and many villages on the Alsace wine route. With special views on the peaks of the Bloss and the Heidenkopf.
