Having just got my 1st pair of Lakes’ recently the answer is unequivocally yes. IMHO contact points – so saddle, shoes, shorts etc are where, if you can afford it, you shouldn’t skimp so buy the best you can afford. Shoes are an investment but if you do a lot of riding you will absolutely get your moneys worth. You can’t put a price on comfort.
I discovered lake a few years ago and I only buy lake now. I have mutant wide feet, their wide fit are still slightly too narrow for me but they’re the widest out there.
I investe in Lake shoes after visiting you guys and after visiting you for a bike fit..the shoe fit is the best thing I've ever done. Super,super comfortable!!
